Configuring Netscape 6 Access (Windows/MAC)
Note: We recommend you print these instructions then close Netscape. Netscape MUST be closed in order to add a new profile.
1. Start your User Profile Manager by clicking Start then Programs then Netscape Communicator then Utilities then User Profile Manager in Windows or by double clicking its icon in the Netscape Utilities folder on a Mac.
2. The Profile Manager dialog box will appear. Select Create Profile, then click Next.

3. Type a name for your new profile. Ensure that this profile name is different from your current profile name.

Note: If you don't provide a different name for your new profile, your account information including bookmarks, e-mail messages and your address book will be overwritten.
4. Click and the Select User Profile window appears

5. Select your new profile, then click Start Netscape 6
6. Click the envelope icon on Netscape's status bar, the Account Wizard appears.

7. Select ISP or e-mail provider in the New Account Set-up window, then click Next.

8. Type your full name in the in the Your Name field, and your new E-mail address in the E-mail Address window, then click Next

9. Leave POP3 selected as the incoming server type.
Set Incoming mail server to the POP server (mail.domainname.com)
10. Set Outgoing mail (SMTP) server to the SMTP server (mail.yourdomain.com) then click Next

11. Type your mailbox name with the full domain (i.e. mailboxname@domainname.com) in the User Name field and click Next.

12. Type a "friendly name" (i.e. "John - Work Messages") for your new account and click Next

13. Select Finish

14. Your setup is complete
